Painting/modeling day Nov. 7

Hi Every one.

I will be holding a painting and modeling day on November 21. I will start around noon, and go until 7pm. This is a casual event, and I hope to see quite a few people show up.

What is the painting day you ask? Simple really. A painting day is an excuse for us all to bring our paints and brushes into the armoury and hang out with your friends. AS a bonus you can share painting and modeling techniques and tips, get help working on a project army or model, heck even just hang out and spend some money at the shop while you are there!! I plan on working on my Vampire counts and what ever else strikes me as I pack up. I will do examples of dipping, green stuff (model repair, gap filling), and tank painting. I can also help with wet blending and drybrushing.

So bring your models, whatever system you play in and lets get some painting done!!

I am planning on being there on the 21st. My one suggestion is adequate lighting. About the only thing I can ever seem to accomplish at the store is base coating because the light is not bright enough to paint anything in any deatil. You may want to see if Bruce will let you bring in some additional desk lights

Just two things -- The title says Nov 7, but the day is otherwise lisit as the 21st. Which is right?

Note: For the 21st that is the start of the week of Thanksgiving. Good chance for that family trip for a week.
