Incoming!!! Blood Angels

Postby Shadowvast on Sun Jan 10, 2010 1:04 pm

I just received my formal "incoming" e-mail from GW.

Blood Angels are incoming in April with new furioso dreadnoughts, death-company dreadnoughts, and assault squads as troops!! That makes the first quarter of the year seriously busy with a schedule like this:

January/February Tyranids
February March Beastmen
March Missions book
April Blood Angels

Tha's a lot of stuff crammed into the first quarter, will they keep it up through the summer?

Sweet. I heard rumors about the missions book. I am eagerly awaiting that release. Do they have many details released about it yet?

White Dwarf lists it as a book of alternative missions for 40k. Basically 30 missions to use in games. I want to read it closely and use a few for tournaments if i can. The big deal with this book is the wave three orks and imperial guard that go with it.

Yup. I am looing forward to the new plastic Deff Dread. I hope that they also release some plastic meganobs or maybe a new named HQ model. Whatever they release I know that February is going to be an expensive month. :?

Well it is official. We can now add plastic Deff Dreds and Killa Kans to our waaagghhh! The one thing I don't quite understand with this release is the metal Flash Git. How does it make sense to release a single model for a 5-10 unit. We now have a character option and a single sculpt for the unit. Why did they not just do a plastic kit for this one? Between the tank bustas and kommandos the orks have enough metal units.

Good question. Most likely this was a cool sculpt that has been done for a while and they had a slot to release it in here.

Hey, at least they don't look like musketeers anymore. (I'm showing my age with that one.)

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! i'm so happy with my salamanders, but these things look so sweet, they might take the place of my green marines. just have to wait for the codex and see what they can do........ of course i already filed off all the BA icons on my space hulk termies to turn them into slamanders, so just because of that, the 'dex will be awesome enough to make me regret it. :(
