Smithy, our resident, well, smith, has expressed a desire to reward all those loyal and conscientious folk who shop at the store. It’s really the patronage of friends like you who help keep our doors open and our gaming tables available for all who want to come in and play a game. So, by way of saying thanks, Armoury Games (and Smithy, of course) presents Smithy’s Swag Card.  For every $15 of a single purchase (before tax) you will receive a stamp on your card. When you get the card filled up, you can redeem it for a sizable discount (up to $30 off) on an entire purchase. Here at Armoury Games we are committed to fostering more than just a retailer – customer relationship. We feel that Armoury Games is more than just a store; it’s a community, and we want you to become a part of it.  Whether you game as a family, a group of friends or an individual, we would like to welcome you into our community.  We have a gaming area with tables that are open and free for all to use.  We have regular scheduled times for games (see our Events page) and hold tournaments and special events. If you have a group or a game you want to play, just call or come on in, you can even schedule in advance.  Unscheduled gaming space is available on a first come, first served basis, but we do all that we can to accommodate everybody. Joining our community is a great way to meet new gamers and experience new games, so quit reading and come on in!

 

 

 

What can we tell you about Smithy? He hasn’t told us much about himself and he’s not the kind of guy to be pressured. We don’t know whether he’s an orc or an ogre or something else entirely, but when he showed up and said he wanted to help Armoury Games, we weren’t going to argue. He labors away in his forge (in an undisclosed location, some even believe he is in a hidden basement below the store itself), pounding out new games and putting existing ones to what he calls the “Smithy Test”.  If Smithy approves a game, you know it’s good (or a least durable enough to withstand his rigorous trials).

He’ll show up from time to time on the website or the forums to give some news or advice, and maybe reveal more of his purpose along the way.

 

 

 

Armoury Games has an online store with apparel, mugs & more, but at this time we do not have an online store for games and gaming supplies. If you have a specific request, we occasionally will accommodate requests to mail product to you. Please inquire.
