These are in stock now!

Dungeon Masters Guide 2: A source of inspiration for Dungeon Masters of any level.

This core rulebook for the Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game features advice and rules for Dungeon Masters of all levels of experience, with a particular focus on running adventures and campaigns in the paragon tier (levels 11–20). It includes advanced encounter-building tools (including traps and skill challenges), storytelling tips to bring your game to life, new monster frameworks to help you craft the perfect villain, example campaign arcs, a comprehensive look at skill challenges, and a detailed “home base” for paragon-tier adventurers—the interplanar city of Sigil.

Revenge of the Giants:

Fee-Fie-Foe-FUN! Evil giants seek to avenge past defeats by ravaging the civilized lands, and the only thing standing in their way is a renowned band of heroes. This D&D super-adventure, designed for paragon-level characters, can be played as a stand-alone adventure or serve as the foundation of an entire D&D campaign.

Prepare for Ground Assault with Glaxy at War:

NEW from Star Wars® Roleplaying Games – Galaxy at War™! From epic battlefields to covert infiltration missions, this book covers everything you need to run a military campaign in the Star Wars universe. Packed with information on military organizations, dangerous battle stations, and the rigors of warfare, Galaxy at War™ presents plenty of new options for players and Gamemasters alike.

This book contains new material from the breadth of the Star Wars saga, including a wealth of new information based on the hit animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars™. Create a hardened squad commander, a hand-to-hand combat specialist, a cunning military officer or one of many other character possibilities and join the fight!

  • The perfect gaming supplement to Star Wars™ Miniatures: Galaxy at War™
  • Guides to creating fortresses and battle stations
  • New character options for soldiers and other military-minded heroes
  • All-new adventure content

A reminder about Space Hulk from Games Workshop; we are running very low and these are sold at the source, so we will not be getting any more, so if you are planning on getting a copy, sooner would be advised rather than later.

Good Gaming!

Getting through the worst of it. . . maybe.

There has not been a new post here for too long.  The calendar is woefully empty of event announcements.  So what is the reason for the quiet state of things?

As some of you know, and many of you don’t, Armoury Games has a booth this year at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.  At first I thought this a great and exciting prospect - which it has been - but I was not prepared for the sheer amount of work involved in getting ready for the show.  Anything that could go wrong did (I refuse to go into details - the horror. . . the horror).  Much building had to be done.  Garb had to be constructed for the festival crew.  And with a limited staff, no one who could sew besides myself, a non-existent budget and no free time, I spent the last three and a half weeks in a state of overwhelming stress and borderline panic.

In the meantime, many things were happening at the store.  Lots of new releases, including Adventurer’s Vault 2 for D&D and Space Hulk from Games Workshop (we still have a couple left, better not wait too long to pick one up as it is a limited edition release).  We started the Pathfinder Society RPG (open to anyone) this past Tuesday and will have another session on Tuesday, September 22nd.  We started a Confrontation/AT-43 gaming day on Sundays.  And I have not reported on any of it until now.

The festival started this past weekend, on the 5th, and I am trying to restore a semblance of stability to my life once again and get caught up on things.  But the show goes on for seven more weekends and Murphy’s Law  inexorably kicks in - even as I’m writing this as something unexpected has come up requiring my attention and lots of time that I simply do not have.

So stick with me  here as I get everything back up to speed.  There will be more announcements about upcoming events and new releases, and the calendar will be updated soon.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.  And come out to see us at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, there’s a lot to do there.
