The Armoury Games forums are still experiencing problems. They are working intermittently. Please bear with us while we sort it all out.
Get ready to vie for Imperial Favor or campaign for territory in Rokugan. With the release of Legends of the Five Rings Celestial Edition, organized game play returns to Armoury Games.
Every Thursday beginning July 23, from 5 – 9pm, you can defend the honor of your clan. If you’re already an L5R player, bring in your decks (older editions welcome). If you’re new, or just curious and want to check it out, just show up and we’ll teach you how to play.
There’s a lot going on on Thursday L5R, here’s some of what you can look forward to;
Armoury Games is excited to announce that we are officially a Stronghold Store. What this means for you, the player is this:
From the L5R website;
Stronghold Stores actively work with AEG and the player base to make L5R a more rewarding experience. The rewards listed below are measured through the active participation of players in the L5R Imperial Assembly Fan Club. Each level of the reward program represents just 3 Imperial Assembly members who have declared an individual retail establishment as their store of choice for purchasing L5R products. Each month, we will check our Stronghold Store database to track the community-building progress of each Stronghold Store, and as each participating store accrues more Imperial Assembly members, it and its players will earn greater the rewards. This is the best way for us to verify that we are working with active brick-and-mortar stores, and that the programs and promotions are reaching the people they are intended for.
For a complete list of rewards and more information, visit Stronghold Stores.
To support the Armoury Games L5R community (and reward yourself in the process), go to the L5R website and register for the Imperial Assembly.
From the L5R website;
The Imperial Assembly is the official fan club for Legend of the Five Rings. When you join you receive exclusive promo cards, the Imperial Herald fan club magazine, and early access to our cards-for-koku program. Membership in the Imperial Assembly also allows you to officially declare your Clan in L5R, and receive the benefits of the Dojo Days program in your local store. Assembly members will often receive special surprises, such as Clan letters and other Clan specific items and offers.
As a special incentive for new and old players alike; for a limited time Armoury Games will be offering a special 50% discount on previous edition (pre-Celestial Edition) L5R cards in stock.
So, no more waiting, get into Armoury Games and get your faction into action now!

You can paint any miniature, any size, any number of figures from a single model to a whole unit, a tank or monster, or you can construct a diorama. Or maybe you’ve got that masterpiece mini that you painted some time ago just laying around needin’ to be appreciated. Whatever the case, you can’t wait too long, because the deadline to turn in your entry is August 1st. The models will be on display at the store through the 15th when the winner(s) will be announced.
We’ll showcase some of the entries right here, so keep watching this space.
Go and read the complete guidelines and get started right away.
Good painter, bad painter, or anything in between, there’s no excuse, get in the fun and get your model into Armoury Games.

Restocks on:
Elves, wizards, or orks not quite your thing? Or maybe you’re just looking for a change of pace from what you’ve been playing. Flames of War could be what you’re looking for. Flames of War is a 15mm WW II miniatures game. Play as the Americans, Germans, British, Soviets, or some of the lesser powers in company level engagements. The scale allows for easy use of combined arms forces including infantry, armor, artillery - even some airpower. The rules are not too hard to pick up, and the game has the familiar, “you go, I go” turn sequence of Warhammer.
Come by on Friday nights to check it out. If you’re already a Flames of War player, gather your forces and get ready for battle. If you haven’t tried Flames of War yet, we’ll show you how it’s played – you don’t need anything, just show up.
Now is the time to become a legend in the Warhammer world. July 11th marks the kick-off of Armoury Games’ Warhammer Fantasy Winds of Magic campaign. Start as the commander of a small warband and build your forces while searching for the answer to the mystery of the Winds of Magic. Will it make you a legendary commander or spell your doom? You decide.
