We’ll be in the store from Noon ’til 5pm, so you have a chance to come and get some gaming in, pick up some gaming supplies and get home in time for cook outs and fireworks.

This past weekend (June 25th – 28th), Armoury Games had its first booth at Origins, and what a great time we had!  We saw many of our old friends and made a lot of new ones. We had a lot of gaming stock on hand (and some crazy cool dice earrings) and more than a few people walked away happy.  We can’t wait for next year. 

We also helped sponsor an official Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Tournament put on by the guys from 40K Origins.  Head on over to their website for a rundown on the action.

What a great thing it is to have a full blown gaming convention like this right in our own backyard.  I encourage everyone to come out next year and join in the fun and support the show. Because just like your friendly local games stores, if you don’t support it, it’ll go away and that would be a darn shame.  And everyboy can afford it; with the $3 day pass you can take advantage of the exhibit hall, demo games and the art show for next to nothing.  If you want to join in some exciting games or tournaments, a full show pass will make you eligible for everything the show has to offer.  So make sure to schedule time next year to come and see us at Origins 2010!

Most of you are probably wonderin’, “is Smithy an orc? Or maybe an ogre? Or what?”. Well that’s my business an’ I ain’t tellin’. All you need to know is that I’m here to take care of you.

Some of you are here for the first time and some of you have been here before but are noticin’ that things look a little different. This is the new look of Armoury Games’ website, so take a few moments to look around and see what’s what. There’s a calendar, both in the sidebar and on our Events page to let you know when things are happenin’. Over there (in the sidebar) you’ll see some Armoury Games links. These’ll take you to our forums or to our online apparel store, make sure to visit ‘em. A little lower you’ll see links to other interestin’ sites, so check those out as well. And keep checkin’  back here often, because we’ll be addin’ posts here regularly, includin’ new release announcements, event descriptions, rules discussions, painting tips and more.
